Welcome to the Writers and Editors Network (WEN). To all our regular and returning members, it’s great to be back. Let’s make 2009/2010 a great season to remember. To those who are visiting this site for the first time, read on.

Although some of our members are accomplished and published authors, it is not necessary for you to be in this group to join. We welcome all who have a serious interest in writing and/or editing. Indeed, membership has helped some people along the road to publication. Besides all this, WEN is a very friendly group of people.

Our organization is an active participant in Word on the Street (a publishers and authors fair) held on the fourth Sunday in September each year. Various seminars, workshops and courses are available to members throughout the year – some of them provided by our more senior members. In addition, some of our members periodically have book signings to which all WEN members are invited. These are only some of the things we do.

We meet for a delicious breakfast, to hear a speaker; and to network among ourselves on the third Saturday of every month. Our current venue is the Canadiana Restaurant in the Six Points Plaza (Kipling Ave. and Bloor St.) Parking is available in the Plaza and we are very close to the Kipling Subway Station.
