November 15 / 08 - Breakfast Meeting
Author Terry Fallis describes the unconventional route he took to getting published. Using new media (blogging, podcasting, Facebook) to drive old media (his novel) Terry's efforts were rewarded earlier this year when
The Best Laid Plans won the prestigious 2008 Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour. McClelland & Stewart will publish TBLP in October 2008.
After an impressive stint in politics, Terry worked for a major PR firm and then, in 1995, co-founded Thornley Fallis, a full service communications consulting agency with offices in Ottawa and Toronto.
